Swimming pool is available in our premises.

Kalkudah beach

Kalkudah beach (https://goo.gl/maps/GgNSVxgczRm) is a beautiful sand beach about 10 km long. Bathing might be a bit difficult when the wave is a bit high. Walking the calm and long beach would be the most peaceful time for you. It is about 500 m from our cottage to the Kalkudah beach. You might be able to see peafowl on the way to the beach.

Passekudah beach

The Passekudah beach (https://goo.gl/maps/5pEirT31VmA2) is developed by government for the public sea bathing place. The beach is very calm and shallow. Even children can enjoy sea bathing.

Thoppigala Heritage Park

Thoppigala Heritage Park (https://goo.gl/maps/3svj8UEBSkT2) is located about 30 km south-west of out cottages.

Minneriya National Park

Minneriya National Park is 108km far from here. It is famous wild elephant rally. It is famous for the elephants rally.

Kaudulla National Park

Kaudulla National Park is 106 km from our place. Around the month of September the elephants move to the Kaudulla tank in search of more water and food.

Bird watching

You can enjoy bird watching around here. We can arrange three hours bird watching tour by car.

Star watching

If the sky is clear, you can see many stars from our compound. We will turn off the light to see the stars as your request. We can offer binoculars to see the stars. You might be able to find southern cross.

Tuk-tuk city tour

We can take you to the city tour as your request. Covil, Fish market, Vegetable market, Dressmaker (you can order if you have time), Cloth shop, and others.

Bicycle rental service

Rental cycles are available.

Motor bike rental service

We have two motor bikes. You need local driver license or international license for driving.

Cooking

Our chef will teach you traditional Sri Lankan cooking. We can go to the local market and select any foodstuff as you like. It would be fun and interesting experience. One group for one day.

Projector rental service

We do not have any TV system. We have LED projector (ASUS ZenBeam E1) and Crenova DVD player (region-free, NTSC).
